Default Squeeking from rear while accelerating...

So I hear a squeak, replace the tensioner and idler pulleys. still squeaks, drove up the road with my head out the window...and dang, I misdiagnosed, the squeak is from the rear and is getting worse by the day. Only occurs when I accelerate forward, nothing in reverse. I am leaning towards breaks???

Could be brakes - check the u-joint in the drive shaft.

Ujoints will squeek once per rotation in a repeating squeek, squeek that accelerates with speed.

If its a constant squeek - probably thin pads & the wear indicator rubbing the disk.

I was thinking leaf shackle bushings myself, if such a condition exists?
