Default Rpms fluctuating

Well recently I noticed that my problem that only showed its face every once and awhile is now here for good well 90% of the time it is. Every time I drive my truck it runs great shifts great but almost everytime I let off the gas my rpms drop then picks back up and drop again and it will do this until I get back on the gas this is really noticable at 50mph or above. Im not throwing any other codes other than my usaual evap code. I did notice the other night it was doing it then on my way home I was passing cars left and right one point I think I hit about 100 and after that it wasnt doing it. I have no clue what to even look for Tps?

sounds like that good old crankshaft position sensor. only way to test that stupid intermittent problem part is to replace it, which isn't hard.

If it were mine i would replace the Throtle position sensor, idle air control, and the crankshaft position sensor. Mine never surged like that but one day it started then died. Sure enough the crankshaft sensor went out. I would be willing to bet a new TPS would fix it but while your doing that i would do the others. (just my .02cents)

UPDATE!!

Sorry for taking so long I've been busy was supposed to test my tps fri but ended up hunting all day fri and sat finally got around to testing it and it seems fine. Been driving it all this weekend and rpms dont move as much as they did before when I let off ill see a drop of 50-100 rpms then it will come up its not near as bad as before. No sure what the prob might be its not too bad right now(knock on wood) I can stand that.
