Default Gas question!

Just curious about how everyone is doing with there gas mileage laity. I know there have been a lot of threads out there about these trucks when it comes to gas mileage. basically I'm just wanting to compare my mileage with you guys. I'm pumping 86 bucks into my tank and it lasts me about 450km's a tank...about 5 days really. what about you guys?

Im getting 230miles on a tank of gas 98 5.2 4x4 auto. I Only put 20.00 in which used to get me a little over half a tank now it gets me under half a tank its quite depressing

This is all from my app on my phone, my average fillup is 18.54gal, mi/fillup 313.38, mi/day 42.05, days/fillup 7.5 but that has gone down since i now drive like 60mi a day, my ave cost per fillup is $48.42US, and ave mpg is 16.899, and i update this app everytime i fillup so its accurate for my truck ive logged over 13kmi, 778gal on this thing, plus it tells me how much ive spent 2grand on gass now thats depressing lol

I don't know how many miles I get from a full tank. I always refuel when I get to the 1/4 mark. I track my MPG on www.fuelly.com. My best ever MPG is 19.0, I think that was because I went on a short interstate trip though. My average MPG is 17.6, pretty good for a 10 year old 3.9 with 138,400 miles on it. I filled up today and my MPG for this last fuel fill was 18.2. Very happy with that.

I recently started using gas from 7-11. I am getting a little more MPG and more power out of it. I believe 7-11 gas has less Ethanol than the name brands. I think it probably has less detergents too, so it burns better and I get better fuel efficiency, more power and more energy from it.

The brand of gas that is best in ur vehicle varies by where u live 7-11 and grocery store have about the same quality gas around here its average quality I see there is more water in them here Hess is the worst by mean never use them. BP Texaco and sunoco r what I usually use near me truck seems to run better on the my best MPG was 19 as well I think

Like 01SilverCC says, check out www.fuelly.com
a great little site, I've been using it for a while.

I'm running mostly city driving lately, and it's starting to get colder, so I've been idling in the morning somewhat. All in all, that is taking it's toll on my MPG.

I'm using filling up @ Sunoco... but since Suncor decided the Petro Canada Brand was better, that's no longer going to be possible

I've used Pioneer... not gonna lie, pretty certain Pearl don't like it from there at all.

I haven't touched Esso or Shell since I've had Pearl, so not sure how they'll fair, and I refuse to use anyone else.

I'm gonna miss Sunoco.

my gas light comes on at 230 miles almost everytime. which means 7 gallons left cause i can only fit about 15 gal in the tank. so i get about 15.3 mpg. i have gotten better but usally worse. it sucks.

I have the 3.9 v6 and 4x4 and I average about 16.5 mpg on a tank of fuel. I've gotten higher when on highway trips at 55 mpg I can get 22.1 mpg. But the best average I've gotten is 17.3 since I average mostly highway driving and I always drive at 55 mph. I know its slow...but its less stress on the truck and better mileage and less chance of a ticket. During the winter I only average about 13-14 mpg but I let the truck warm up for about 5 mins at least in the morning before driving it so that contributes to lower mileage. I also fill up when I have about 1/4 tank left.
