Default Need Heat

Has anyone ever removed the A/C Heater housing, do you have to remove the dash? My heater is not blowing heat, the heater core has been flushed and flows good both ways. Engine temp is running 188 deg. Factory manual states the air should be 160 deg. out the vent, mine is barely 90 deg. I'm thinking either the Temp control door is not moving all the way or leaves and trash has stopped up the core so air can't blow through it. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Probably not the Entire dash, but quite a bit that is under there. The service manual is in the Stickies at the Top of this section. It has a complete description of the brake down on how to remove it all.

did you ever get that heating problem fixed. I am having the same issue. from what I have heard, it could be the heater core and the entire dash has to come out in order to get to it. My problem is still not fixed
