That's how my 2000 burnt down.

Get all new o-rings and be sure the fuel rail and the injectors are snug and the o-rings are not damaged.

There is a small clip on the top you need to pull off, then turn the injector while rocking it back and forth in the hole...

Im not talking about the red clip that holds the harness in place, im talking about the metal clip that keeps the injector attached to the fuel rail. Use a flat head and push back on it, it will pop off its metal.

The red clip you more then likely broke (they always do) you dont really need, just use a pen or something to push in the plastic clip to get the harness off the injector.

It would have been easier to just pull the whole fuel rail. Its not that hard to take off.

Winston, you are in good hands I've meet Chris in person and he knows his stuff. Looks like you have found the culprit. Get some silicone spray, a new O ring and replace it. When it starts to warm up, I would probably replace all of them. When I pulled the heads off my truck I replaced every seal and O ring I could get my hands on, lol. Good job on getting it out.
