Default More transmission issues, go figure

Ok so I had my tranny overhauled in march '10, everything was good until like mid September when I had an overheating issue, took it back to the shop they rebuilt it again picked it up made it half way home and the trans got hot again. So I took it straight back they flushed everything, put and external cooler on went an got it back.... Still overheating on my trips over 7 mountains in PA. Drops overdrive, tranny temp light comes on and smoke rolls. Any ideas? I'm thinking torque converter isn't locking and sticking between drive and overdrive. Any input would be appreciated, planning on heading back to the shop with it on Monday.

Find a new shop seriously, i mean yeah they are repairing free of charge maybe? but still that many issues, screw them. Good luck and hope the problem gets fixed and fixed soon.

TC was replaced on original rebuild....and not only would it be to expensive to switch shops but the guys done all my families tranny work for as long as I can remember and this is the first issue we've had and he intends on making it right. Haven't paid a dime since the first visit to the shop.

And the tranny cooler bybasses the radiator....so if something was plugged in the core of the radiator it shouldn't be plugging the tranny cooler. Should I replace the radiator anyways?

No radiator has nothing to do the the tranny, most daks have aux tranny cooler in-front of the radiator.
