Never have torqued my plugs. Screw it in until the compressor washer makes contact and then a 1/4 turn and your golden. Don't forget the anti-seize on the threads. You'll thank yourself on the next plug change.
I have seen values from 13 to 30 ft lbs. I have a bad habit of overtightening things. Don't know my own strength. Thought it would be safer to have a torque value for the spark plugs.
I have a calibrated arm lol. I dont even own a torque wrench but I just snug mine not too tight not too loose.
same here its all in eh just a little more ok uh ok just uh ok right there lol only thing i've broken so far was a diff bolt and I was using a torque wrench with the torque it said to use so I went back to the calibrated arm method.

X2. I have a ft/lb and an in/lb torque wrench that I've owned for years and have used the ft/lb wrench one time and the in/lb wrench is still brand new. I to subscribe to the 'old school' method.
