No my sig pic is back during the summer. I need to find a good place to get a new one cause now I have 32's and black wheels

OK, I'm gonna ask the noob question. I keep seeing posts on cranking the torsion bars and I have read the sticky on how to do it. People keep talking about leveling their rig. How do you know if it's level? At what points do you measure it? I bought my rig used and when I look at it, it seems like it is level. Just wondering...

Just measure top of tire to bottom of fender and by the looks of your sig pic your front is lower than the rear.

If you do lots of HW stuff and like to go over 75 then 3.92's would be better. I had 31's All terrains before and went to the 32 Mud terrains that also weigh a little more and barely noticed a drop.
Awesome. I think I'm going to go with 4.10s then.
Here is my reasoning, feel free to poke holes in it... I don't claim to be a math wiz...

Stock tire circumfrence = 86.63"
32x11.50x16's = 100.83"

So... 86.63 into 100.83 = 1.16

And.. 1.16 times my current gear ratio of 3.55 is...

4.118!

So 4.10's are the closest to the stock ratio If I want to keep it the same and keep the current power and MPG?

I understand the weight and width of the new tires also play into it.. But gear ratio wise.. 4.10s are my best bet?

I do a lot of freeway driving between towns around here, 65mph-ish. And a fair amount of stop and go city driving on the way to work every day. So I don't typically go 75 unless I'm feeling ballzy.

I would definitely say 4.10's then if your def. going to change them!

cycodude: for me I could def. tell that the front was lower so I guess its all in the measurements. also I did measure from the ground to my fender flare and it was 2 inches lower in the front. I took it an inch up and it still looks raked in some pictures to me.

Another noob question... how come I can't find 31x??x16 tires? I have an 03 Quad Cab and have been running the 265/70-16 size... which, I'm pretty happy with, but wouldn't mind the bigger bite of 31's without having to do a lift.

You can either do 31/1050/16 or 31/1150/16

Gotcha. Thanks!

(Comes back after a few minutes...)

Another stupid question... when I google for this size in various formats (eg. 31x10.5x16, 31/1050/16, 31x10.5-16, 31x10.5R16) I get nuthin. Not even on TireRack.com. I'm missing something. Please educate me.

(Comes back AGAIN after a few more minutes...)

Ok, now I'm really curious. Dick Cepek's site is telling me that LT265/75R16 are equivalent to 32X10.50R16. I'm already running LT265/70R16. So could I just go to the 75's and be a happy camper? Sheesh... I thought I knew about tires but apparently not.

Again, thanks for the help.

I went to check out the duratrac at discount tire and I was told goodyear does not make a wrangler duratrac 32x1150x15 inch tire. Are you sure that is the size duratrac you have??
