yeah, i went for a test drive and oil pressure was normal and no compression issues. billy said that hes not worried about the head or block anymore and believes the gasket is seated perfectly.

I used to own a Tacoma (unfortunately) and one of the guys in my old club warped his block last year. The resurfacing of the block and heads cost more than buying a rebuilt engine.

****, not outta the woods yet. ive got a huge oil leak on by coil #5 between the mani and valve cover.

What ever you do, don't buy a 3G!!!! You have a sweet truck don't get a 3rd gen.. Unless it's like Billy's haha.

all frustrated again, pulled the dipstick after it was running really rough and there was no oil, dipstick tube was smoking. im dripping brand new oil. not the old stuff that could have been in the frame from the original event. my gut feeling tellls me its bad.

Where is it dripping from or cant you tell?
