Default help with suspension problem please

Ok, I wanted to lift my front end a bit so as to level the truck a bit and to accept the next bigger size tire than the stock. I wanted to mount the 32 " BFG AT's.

Anyway, as I was taking initial mesurements I noted the the right side (both front and rear right) was lower than the left side (both front and rear left)

So I crancked the torsion bar on the left side to raise the front almost an inch and crancked the right side a bit more than that, so as to even it out with the left front side.

Now I have my front end (left and right) exactly even on both sides. My problem is that now my right rear side, the side that was originaly lower than the left is now higher by about 1 inch?

Again, my front is exactly even, but, my right rear is now higher than the left rear. In other words my left rear is now lower than my right.

How can I correct this ?

Also I went ahead got my 32" BFG TA's mounted today and the guys actually mounted one of each to let me see how it would look with the white letters out or black sidewall. I went with the black sidewall cause the tire looked beefier black. The tires look great on the truck. Thanks to all that helped me choose this tire. The BFG's perform absoulety great. Thanks to the guys at Discount Tire in Indianapolis who went above and beyond in customer service as well.

So can anyone help with my rear end problem?

As always thanks in advance.

I'm not sure this can be corrected without taking it down to the bare frame and straightening that. But I could be very wrong on that. How much is it off? If you can't tell without measuring I wouldn't bother.

I would talk to a alignment shop they should know exactly what do do about it. One of the leafs might be messed up. Look at both sides see if anything is different.

It's off about an 1 inch but can't tell with the naked eye unless you really study it hard.

I'll take a closer look under the car tomorow morn or the next to see what I could find. If I can't see anything a miss, I will take it to an alignment place or body shop so they can take some mesurements.

Also when you say alighnment shop, do you mean like any old place the does wheel alignments like pep boys or a tire shop or soemthing else??

As always thanks in advance

I had the same problem I think when I did this but like you said you can't really tell. Also it is a good idea to get it aligned after changing the torsion bars...I know mine was off and I had to get it aligned twice. Plus lets see some pics of the tires!

I'll post some pics after I get the truck washed. But I realy like these tires and the way they look. I get no rubbing at all from my initial test drives.

Also a question: When you crank a torsion bar is only the front suppose to rise or does the back also rise a litte?

No only the front rises. All your doing its putting more force on the torsion bars and that in turns gives you a stiffer ride and more hight in the font.
