New Clutch but loud rumbling noise - Please Help
I tend to think if the clutch disc was bent you'd have a hell of a lot of chattering when you tried to engage the clutch and start moving.
Does the throwout bearing turn freely and smoothly while you are applying pressure to it?
How does the end of the input shaft look, where it goes into the pilot bearing? Is it lubed?
What brand clutch kit did you get?
FWIW, Dodge says not to resurface the flywheel, it's not flat. It has a contour on it. I don't think thats causing the noise though.

Thanks again for all the help.
I would have bled/replaced the clutch sys while it was apart...of course, thats assuming its hydraulic like mine. Could be low fluid etc. Or, could just need a little breaking in to get that small amount worn off...
Thanks AGAIN!!
It says it has "a unique contour that would be negated by machining..." and tells you just to use 180 grit emery to remove any minor surface scoring.
