If by "same thing" you mean, "pieces of ****" then yes, they are the "same thing".

This is as close as we have come to agreeing so I say we stop while we're ahead.

...and ramguy that thing is pretty sweet. I want a beater... or better yet a motorcycle. My best friend just bought an 08 zx10r. Vroom Vroom I've been dying to get back on a bike ever since I sold mine like 4 years ago. College sucks every penny out of you.

As far as I've read there isn't a real difference between a liter bike and a 600 besides maybe some high end power and a higher top speed.

Actually, a liter bike is "easier" to ride, due to the extra torque. You can cruise in 3rd on a liter bike, and keep up with 600s that have to use 2nd, and 3rd.

Lol yeah I guess that makes sense. But I don't think I will start off with an R1 though.

Yeah got it for 200 had 160k on it and was a 5 speed. It prob would of lived if it had been after hunting season not during(we go a bit crazy). I wanted to strap 2 or 3 deer to the thing lol ended up scrapping it for 300 when prices were up. Yeah im lucky I go off in mid to late july for my internship so school is paid for(mostly online too) and I get to work full time. Pay is good for starters too.

The real difference is in the high end like you said. The biggest difference between the two in my opinion is the handling. To me a 1L just feels big and a 600 you can throw around in the corners and what not. 1L's have a stupid amount of power up top and can be down right scary... but that's what makes them fun.

My brother in law had his buddys r1 up to 185mph he said he wants to hit 200 before he dies. I've rode my buddys R6 nice bike corners real nice and still has tons of power I had it up to 135. I still could never own a bike I would either be pa's top wanted or dead lol
