Default iac maken my ideal high?

i cleaned my tb a few weeks ago i got a new tps and cleaned the aic motor and ever since then ive noticed it always stays at 1000 rpms when its in park and around 900 in gear. also when its cold i can tap the gas and it will rev up and slowly come back down. would a bad aic motor cause this?

Have you tried resetting your ECU? You probably knocked its home position out of whack when you were cleaning it and the throttle body.

Did you pull the entire Tb, pull off all sensors and really give it a detail clean?

Did you take a fine sandpaper to the base of the TB and Top of the INtake to make it nice and smooth..

DId you replace the gasget?

yea man cleaned it really good and got a new gasket. im thinkn about just buyn a new aic motor and see if that helps it. also i replaced my clutch fan with a electric one and today at work it got up to 70ish dergrees out side. i was sitin with the truck runnin and if i turned my a.c on it would start to climb over 210. im thinkn i might need to flush the rad out or somthin. the new fan was blowin good so idk..

Funny.. My dad seems to think it might be in the exhaust.. but not really sure.. like that one guy that replaced his Cat... there is no telling though.. I'm honestly thinking about pulling the CAT... and see what it does.

I wouldn't think so either.. but so much contradicting information out there.. esp.. when you hear/have problems others report too all coming together you could easily spend tons of $$ throwing at it..

Did you happen to see if your Oil gauge been sticking around 20ish sometimes? Just curious..

Mine has done it about 3 times now..
