Default Lowering kits, AAR hood

What are the popular and better lowering kits (4" to 5")?

Who makes a AAR style hood?

I have used AAR fiberglass repros in Fla, in the past for my fullsize trucks, but they don't have a AAR style a cowl and R/T style.

AAR style is the center mounted scoop (similar to the viper), like the AAR Cuda's ran on the SCCA circuit.

Nothing wrong with that, probably better in the front since the angles change on the control arms and push at the wheel differently in corners.

Im not 18 anymore and i find as i get older i look for more bolt on stuff than fabricating it all myself, after working on cars and trucks this long everything hurts, shoulders, arms, elbows . . . . fukin killer....

If i wasn't so bad i'd do it the same way you did and make nylon bushings for everything. Probably easier to just plasma the front coils, lower the shock mount add a block and new u-bolts than doing a kit anyway. . .

You got a link to that DRT hood, im not familiar with it

You cut 3" out of the front coil or you took 1 full coil and .75 and then put new u-bolts and a 3" block out back.

Yours looks more than 3" lower, or maybe it's the tires, are they a 40 or lower ?
