Default 5.2L + 180 Stat=Poor MPG!!

So I thought I'd try out the whole 180 stat deal.. well.. it was an epic fail.. 192 is OE recommended and what they use from factory.. After driving around the whole weekend.. the truck ran like pooh and very **** poor MPG.. running between ballpark 12-15 range.. ROFL!!!

You could smell it in the exhaust running rich.. like it was not warmed up fully.. well that it was not.. sensors were not reading.. and were running off default tables..

180 stat is a bad idea.. I threw a new 192 back on.. and took it out for a spin.. power was better and so was the MPG>. No wonder ppl with the 5.2L that has the 180 stat in says they only get at best 15mph..

I went back to 19-20MPG in the 60-70 MPH range. just FYI..

I got the 190 stat and I wish I could get 15 from mine. Filled up fri just under 3/4 of a tank now and at 7x miles and I was taking it as easy as I could.
