Default Will this fit?

Does anyone know if this Air Filter fit the 97? what is the actual clearance in the engine compartment with the lid shut.. or does anyone know of a round intake filter like this one that will fit?

http://store.knfilters.com/search/pr...x?Prod=57-1501

Thanks

Should be fine. Just measure how high your hat is and then compare it to which ever one you are getting. I know a reg one should be fine(like a 2in high filter or w.e they are) Also I got a chrome edelbrock one for the cj and it was 34.00 I believe.

I'm not going to say it will for sure fit, but I have seen one of similar design on a dakota. And like dodgeramguy said, You can get them a lot cheaper than $150.

I'm guessing at the heigth but I think the current stock plastic nut has about maybe 1/4-1/3 inch clearance.. give or take.. taking into account of everything.. tell me if these figures sound correct.

1. H- 3-1/4~1/2" (Providing about up to >1" clearence
2. W-10" (To avoid moving or re-routing out-Rad house)
3. In- 5-1/8"

Do these sound reasonable?
