Default Anyone know what this is?

Hey guys, I was wandering around my engine compartment the other day and saw this stray wire. You can see on the other end its connected by tape or something. Not sure what it is, or what is supposed to connect to it. Also, does anybody know where the stock horn is located at? I have a siren mounted (connected to steering wheel) and wonder if there is still a stock horn. I guess it doesn't really matter, I'm getting air horns this weekend to replace my broken ones. Sorry about the attached pics theyre cell phone and i haven't figured out how to put them on the thread.
Thanks

i looked at my truck and that connector either goes to the top of the a/c "thing, the aluminum thing in ur pic" or it goes to a connector that is mounted on the top of the fender, almost like a grounding point.

i just went out and double checked, and there is nothing for it to plug into. Maybe it is something for only 4wd trucks or an option i dont have on mine. It may be one of those things that was cheaper for dodge to put in even if i didnt have the option. Just like my dash cluster has a "service 4wd" light, even though I don't have it. You sure that you were looking at the same cord?

It is probably some type of diagnostic port or something like that.

Pretty sure it's a diagnostics port. This was discussed in the the 1st generation Durango forum a few months ago. We all had it but no one could come up with anything definitive.

Thanks guys. That's kind of what I was guessing, but just wanted to make sure the previous owner didn't have anything weird goin on in there. It's just I've never seen one like that before.
