oil change for new heads??

yeah but im old school plus with my discount at the auto parts store from when i worked at the repair shop. but on my moms car i change it every 6,000 miles because it is a newer car and thats what i think all those oil claims are for

Talking 4.7 head rebuilt

My 2001 4.7 Dakota is running like a champ after machining the heads from overheating plus a lifter popping off...compression is good , so I expect another 100K before the motor implodes!! 124K right now. My rear-end will be replaced shortly to help things out...getting 19m/g freeway right now
