Manuals can and do fail, don't get me wrong, but at least I don't have to put up with that garbage.

+1000. There are so many times when I've driven a manual and you don't want it to shift because you know in two seconds it will need to just shift back down anyway. It's annoying.

I don't care how advanced and fancy an auto can get, at the end of the day there still is not clutch and it's still an auto. End of story.
