That would be correct. I also marked the chain and sprocket. I finished one side then went to the other.

No I haven't had time with work and everything. I want to rip off the head first to see if there was any piston damage because if there is there is no reason for me to continue with 4 messed up pistons, and an entire rebuild would be set forth or an engine swap.

if the rockers were seated properly you probably dont have piston damage. the guy i have been talking about had bent valves b.c the rocker fell off. i hope they are fine man.

My boss from work might be my savior, He knows a few guys that might be able to help me out.I was told by one of them that the dowl pin is actually pressed in so it is replaceable! Also I may be getting help from a legit mechanic. So I am waiting to get in contact from him, since it would be stupid to continue when someone who has been working on engines for 20+ years might be coming to help you.

Honestly I haven't had any time to touch it, I was suppose to get a call from my mechanic friend tonight but that never happened... I guess I will just have to give him a call in the A.M

Hey everyone sorry so the delay on the update for my truck, But I've been extremely busy with trying to organize all my college stuff, hold down a job all without a vehicle... Yup thats right it is still sitting in my garage as we speak. The mechanic that was suppose to be doing my work went under some health problems for a bit and then all of a sudden he is fine again and heads off to sturgis for two weeks. I am incredibly pissed, I've done all the work I know how to do. I'm pretty sure I have to take the head off but I don't want to mess it up anymore...
