Cool 2000 Dakota shift indicator out of alignment

It`s great to join such a talented group! Question; 2000 dakota auto V6 has a misaligned shift indicator. Any suggestions?

Welcome!

On the steering column you'll find the cable that works the PRNDL indicator. There is a thumbscrew that you can turn to adjust it.

Adjust it while in "Park."

Yeah under the knee bolster there is like 2 or 3 screws to get that panel off.
