my dak burned the a/c resistance and i change it was cheap $16 dollars but 2 months later really last week it burned the new one again what could be i dont think is the resistance....? and is so ****ing bad drive with the windows closed with rain and with out A/C
aditional fact it only works on the full speed and if i put it in a lower speed it stops working but the A/C light stay on some help please
wrong part? bad switch? once i had a 1982 2500 ram the air con went out, the contacts in the ignition switch for the air conditioner burned out. i replaced it, it happened again. so i put a relay in to carry the load for the a/c. it wasnt easy but it was really good after done.
You say "a/c resistance." We call it the "blower motor resistor." Regardless, what was the condition of the connector when you changed it? Was it partially melted? If that connector isn't on clean and tight, it can melt. The fan draws a lot of amps.
The other possibility is that the motor itself is drawing too many amps.
