Well, I did it now,..
Trying to change 2 burnt-out bulbs in my Dash cluster
& I forgot about the Shifter-Cable-thingy. I Started twisting
& turning the cluster to slide it out up over the steering wheel
and I snapped the white plastic thing that holds and guides the
little cable into the cluster. WHERE'S the best place to get one?
How much about?? And, how the hell do you change it out???
Help.

Yep, the white retainer is broke.
The little white round donut thing
that clips into the dash housing slot.
Boneyard sounds about the cheapest but,..
HOW do you change it out??
Without knowing, I would think it's gotta be installed
onto the cluster 1st. then, somehow snake it around
and up to wherever. Somebody has had to do it before,
Calling all help!

Hello JBs DAK
Can you post some clear pictures of the broken area and what broke off.
Sometimes getting creative with a fix works wonders if I see the broken part I could suggest a fix that may work instead of expensive new dash or a junkyard replacement.
Some cell phone pictures or a good digital camera pics are helpful.

No, not to be a pain in the *** but, if I take it apart,
I'm at the same problem again. I did find it on All - Data
but that was like looking at a Haynes manual... almost useless.
Someone that has replaced it is what I really need. It's just hard to explain
it. Called the Dealer,.. They want 65 bucks and some change for a new one.
Guess ?I/'m driving around with the indicator in reverse for quite some time
to come. It's just worse I guess because I broke the thing. Man am I STUPID!
