Stereo Help?
I am new to the Dodge world and have a 2002 SXT Dodge. I was wondering if someone could help me with installing a new deck. I was looking at one that is 3.93in tall and the stock one in there is greatly smaller.
Real question is if someone could tell me if behind the paneling if there is enough room for it. The dimensions of the deck I want to put in are 7.28in wide, 3.93in tall, and 6.89in deep.
I can't take apart the paneling right now as I am in vacation but I have been wondering this for a while... Any help?

Surprising, my dad back in his earlier years bought a few stereos from there. I have bought 2 from there also.
Be warned that crutchfield has a high markup. You get the connectors ect so that's worth it, but just beware...especially if you start buying stuff for your house or w/e, i use crutchfield as a reference to good vs bad and buy elsewhere.

My buddy got the same radio I got for my truck I got mine from crutchfield and he got his from ebay he couldnt find any cheaper than 25.00 and when it came it didnt have the wiring so pretty much it was the same price after he got the wiring kit. Most of the time they have pretty good deals.
Just throwing this out there for future reference... Ive bought from this place several times and very good prices and service is great..

But for your case for the price and the mounting and install freebies go with Crutchfield. I always compare these 2 sometimes you can get a good deal in the case of the head units from them sometimes on the rest of equipment you just cant beat Sonic Electronic pricing. I used to buy Crutchfield back in the day I dont any more unless its a HU and i really really really need some parts and it actually saves me money other wise i just buy everything i need...

I measured myself then went to Wal-Mart got a $100 pioneer CD am FM mp3 player works great 3 hours of music on one CD with no commercials don’t use radio ever now.
Just get good quality speakers Sony three way and everything is great.
I did all the wiring and install myself.
I used to be the must have top end stereo fanatic till I lost three expensive systems to stereo Thief’s and damage to my car every time ripping it out and smashed glass so I go with cheap simple now and no break-ins any more.
At $100 she sounds just fine no more smashed windows.
