U-Joints or your diff.
Check the U-Joints they should be tight as all hell no play at all.
Diff dont know how to check that? sorry
No brake problems?
Steering problems?
Did you run something over?
Did the three Stooges hitch a ride under you truck?
"Gimme a 3 letter word meaning 'rat'." "Meaning 'rat'?" "Yeah." (Ted points to Curly) "Him."

Spider gears.
When you go straight they aren't moving, well, much. When you turn, then they move pretty good. Do you have an LSD? It is possible that the clutch retainer broke and damaged the pinion gears. Pull the cover off the differential and check.
