Default Is my MAP sensor bad Help ?

I posted a day or two about my engine running rich.

Well I decided to remove the MAP sensor and clean if possible and well I don’t think its cleanable but I did notice the tube on the manifold and little rubber elbow had a blue color film on them like some form of corrosion I wiped it all down removed the blue stuff and reinstalled it now my truck runs kind of fast at idle I have not driven it yet it idles down slow now also.
So is my MAP history?

I have no idea what would cause a blue film maybe its the material starting to deteriorate? I think that means that the part is getting old and probably could be replaced.

Well, I know that sometimes reusable air filters can sometimes have the oil from it get stuck on the MAP sensor overtime. I don't know what else could cause that.

same map as the pushrod motors. I replaced mine out of habit with the new TB. Not sure what would cause the dye, although I have seen decomposed rubber turn blue...
