my trans won't shift out of 1st gear trouble codes are p0700 trans control sys malfunction,and p0760 shift solenoid c malfunction i would like to know if i can fix either of these problems ?

 

one of my friends had gotten his fluid changed at jiffy lube, and they cut a 4x4 filter in half with a hack saw and installed it in his 2wd dak. every 6 months he thew a p07xx code for the trans, the fix was to drop the pan, exchange fluid and proper filter and it would go away. i doubt that happened to you, but its probably your solenoid thats gone bad.
