Does it have antilock brakes? towing capacity?
i recently bought a 98 dodge dakota slt 4x4 3.9L manual and i haven't even brought it home yet, and was wondering if it had antilock brake? also does any1 know what the max towing capacity is?

In the FAQ it says 4900 but i had more than that with no problem if i rember right it was like 6000+ over some big hills. Same truck as you and welcome to the site!

How correct you are on that point
The back brakes are kind of worthless if you have the 9" drum brakes but don’t worry the front disk brakes stop just great my back brakes were shot for years and never knew it I just did a complete R/R of the back brakes and they were frozen the wheel cylinders were locked in place.

Rear abs only and my buddy used to haul a double axle trailer loaded around 5k and his truck did fine just have slow down earlier when you want to stop.
