Cracking?

Never had any problem with my stock headers

Yes the banks will fit the other I don't know

Are you some place that gets a lot of rust and they rust a lot the stock ones are very thick?

Do you drive through a lot of water every day?

Yea, i know what you mean. The stock manifold is cast and cracks easily. Mine was. The Banks will bolt up to your stock downpipe, a bit tight, but it will work. The Pacesetter one will fit the head, but you'll need to modify your stock downpipe.

I have the Banks header with a custom 2.5" downpipe. Sounds and feels great. Oh and no cracking.

P1294 (M) Target Idle Not Reached

It sounds like what you may be hearing is a vacuum leak not an exhaust leak.

Your idle is low you have an intake leak a bad TPS or IAC is dirty clean the throttle body.

So you like the new exhaust? That's the one thing I still want to do on my 2.5

i would like to get these headers as well in the future, i KNOW the 2.5 will breathe better, now that ive bored my 2.5 to .060 over with a 4.0 throttle body and a brand new head, it feels much more restricted than ever before

that is the reason why i wont let anyone touch my engines, EVER....

You put the Banks header on, it ran fine, and now its running like crap, misfiring, high idle and youve checked sensors, sounds like the intake/exhaust bolts are loose which would give you a vacuum leak, or you have a vacuum leak elsewhere causing too much air to get in
