Default 5 speed help please

Finishing up my swap from 3.9 to 5.2. The only problem is the truck isn't gonna start because I have a 5 speed and the engine harness is for an auto. Can I rig it for the 5 speed clutch sensor?

There are two sensors on my 5 speed. One is for the speedo and the other I believe is for the clutch

There is no sensor for the clutch on the tranny. There is a clutch pedal switch, later models, so you can't start it without depressing the pedal.

What year?

You aren't looking at the back up light switch are you?

It is a 98. The plug has two barrels on it. I'm guessing it is the back up light sensor you are talking anout

Yes the clutch safety switch is on the pedal. You just need to find the neutral safety switch wires and connect them.
