The Kota's got some new boots!! I like them so far.. I need a steering stabilizer shock but other than that.. I'm happy.

Got them for 142.00 a tire..

Those look sweet! These are actually the other tires I was looking at but they didn't come in the size I wanted. I'm going to put a stabilizer on mine too... I've got quite a bit of bump steer and stuff now.

Yeah I didnt really notice it too much; a little play in the stearing; but with these I can feel it more.. and that will keep the stearing from going to and from.. and also keep from trying to turn when off road.. I forget the tech terms of the condition but My Jeep had one on it and you can git something loose or hard packed and keeps the wheel from jerkering and turning..

So drove around a bit and at lower speed 20-50MPH there is some road noise as expected with an aggressive tire; but actually not loud.. its almost not even noticeable in the cab.

Up at 70; I really don't even hear it that much.

Dry-pavement traction is good; I can turn corner and stomp the gas and no spinning..

I might go out do some dirt-crawling in my wife's paw-paw's dried up pond.. Wanna see how they do on loose dirt. and that kinda stuff.. find me a mud hole somewhere..

I think I did good on these boots.. 670 installed and I sold my old tires for 125; So $545 plus a $40 rebate= $505 for 4 160-180 tire.

Haha Road noise... My destination MT's make quite a bit of noise, but I agree they make the truck look soo much better. I really don't even pay attention to that noise anymore. its just another noise that my truck makes.

yeah they hum but i like it makes people look a the truck. i am pretty sure my tires are bad though i think i have a belt in the tire that is broke because tire place told me they couldnt balance them perfectly and they shake even after i aligned and balanced them the best i could. so cooper stts are coming soon .

those tires make your truck look great
