if mufflers muffle sound, wouldn't adding a second quiet the truck even more?

why wouldn't you just do a cat back... and have single inlet dual outlet muffler...

You just need to do like Blaze said and run a single inlet, dual outlet muffler or single in and out and put in a Y to run duals.

single in dual out is the way to go. Mine is 3 inch inlet with 2.5 inch outlets. Secondary catalyst deleted. Ive got my tips 45'ed to the corners sticking out a little more then usually but I like it.

Hi guys, I have the single in and two out muffler for my stock dual exhaust. I want to change out the muffler to a Magnaflow. My 2011 muffler looks to be about 30" long. does magnaflow make a replacement to take up that length? Or will I have to extend the inlet pipe? Thanks, John
