Dusty,
I had the same vibration - starting at 40mph - didn't matter how hard I was on the pedal. Again, Change the u joints - if nothing else - you will have new u joints at a low cost of under $30.00
The stalling issue, hmmm - no codes? Could be a sensor or bad ground connection. I can't offer any advice on that. I am slowly starting to replace sensors - many will say I am wasting my money but I can either pay minimum $100.00 for a diagnostic from the dealer with no guarantees or I can spend $100.00 and replace 2- 3 sensors that have about 110,000 miles on them...

As for the gas mileage - dude - I get 10mpg. Don't complain about 16 - it ain't no civic!
Keep posting, let us know how you make out.

I did a visual inspection underneath the truck and tried turning the shaft, nad moving the joint from side to side looking for play but everything seemed tight. I mentioned it to my mechanic and he said that the best way to know is to drop the drive shaft and move the joints. If they are tight, they could be dried up inside. Sure enough when I pulled the driveshaft out, there was one bearing cap that had no needles left in and dryer than a boot. It was only after I had the shaft off that i could see the play in that joint.
