You'll love it. Idk what other stuff you've done performance wise besides the tuner (I think you have one?), but I think taking the fan off allowed the rest of my mods to reach their full potential. Even if you did it to a stock truck I think you'd see a pretty nice improvement. You should just do it one day, it's really quick and especially since it's winter it's pointless to have it anyways.

I thought every dak 01+ had them? If not, mine is an exception I guess.

you might have gotten lucky, ive never heard of having a 3.9 or 5.2/9 having the stock efan.

We are talking about the fan right behind the radiator, right? It's this one:

I guess it's technically called a "Radiator fan". I don't think any 5.2's did have them, because I think they only started putting them in when the 4.7 was introduced in 00 I guess. Or they might have waited until 01 to put these new fans in, I'm not sure.

yeah thats the one. there was another guy on here, magnethead that didnt have a stock efan. and there was a guy with a 5.2 just recently that put an aftermarket one in his b.c he didnt have one. maybe some of the 3.9's had them. i dunno, but either way, it works out.

My 00 3.9 has one and the 02 3.9 (p.o.s) i had had one. Maybe they only putt the e-fan on models with ac.

Hmmm that's weird I thought Magnethead's was an 01. But yeah it's strange, because mines an SXT which I thought was the base model. And that's really strange that your 00 has one, 1986jeep. Dodge strikes again... lol
