Doesn't sound very big blocky to me. I'm telling you man with a 3.9L the best bet would be a glass pack.

wasnt loud at all but I didnt hear any fart can rice either. My super 44 sounds amazing at idle. Sounds like a mustang cobra with dual exhaust. But at 2k 2500 rpms sounds like total rice ****!!!!

I decided to take all my exhaust past the header back off and reinstall it all. I've been having problems with my flowmaster sounding ricey and it wasn't fitting properly when I got it. I couldnt get the 2 1/2 id or od to fit either inside the muffler flange or over the muffler flange on the outlet. The inlet the pipe and adaptor fit inside the muffler snug and I clamped it and it sealed well. The outlet was leaking at the tail pipe and sounded bad. I finally went to the auto parts store and realizes that 2 1/2 fit inside the flowmasters in the store snug so I took mine off took it back to advance auto and got a new flowmaster. Now it hardly sounds ricey at all sounds very good and I had an exhaust leak near my high flow magnaflow cat and piping off the header from the po ghetto rig. The leaks and the muffler not fitting was making it sound like a major fart cart. Muffler cement is a great sealer. I'm am now very happy with the flowmaster super 44!

Get some sound for us! Just do a video, its easier.

I thought Flowmaster had a problem with their mufflers rusting out?

I've had the same set of FlowMaster 40's on my truck for 9 years now with now problems. I checked them out this past week when I had it on the rack for tranny service and no signs of rust thru whatsoever.

I had a dodge neon with a single in ,duel out flowmaster40. I had 5" tips on it that ended up being where the deep sound came from.
