drive shaft broke off today
i have the 3.9 v6 2wd extended cab. I believe that is considered club car rite? How do I determine is I have a single drive shaft/ one piece or double drive shaft/ two piece? thanks
Yup, it's a club cab.
Look under the truck. If it's two piece there will be a center bearing under the bed and you'll have two shafts, one in front of the bearing, one behind.
It is a VERY good idea to measure your old driveshaft before you go looking. Just piece it together enough to figure the length if you can.

it has 2 u joints on each end of the shaft. one rite behind the spline piece that goes over the transmission spline. The other in the rear that bolts to the differential. I assume since there is one shaft beteween this that I then have a one piece drive shaft?
well I finally found 2 options for me. 1 would be to go with a drive shaft company called A1 thats in baltimore. Seems to have a good rep and they said they can either repair mine or build one from scratch and it would cost about $275 if they have to build from scratch. option 2 is one of the junk yards can get one in for me saturday morning for about $100 bucks. What would u guys do? I kinda figure if A1 drive shafts can repair mine for around $100 I will let them do that but if not then go with the used one. Let me know what u guys think??
I had A1 driveshafts in baltimore build a new shaft for me. Its not aluminum like the crap dodge put on there. new shaft, universals, balanced, and painted all for $265. Not bad at all if u ask me. Now I just hope it fits.
