My spies (3 of 'em) were in error then. I didn't see it... I was there last year.

 

Anything is possible. I had to laugh when I saw it was just a 360. The 440 would have required a bunch of cutting in the engine bay. This truck was still stock at the fenderwells and firewall. Now maybe it's 440 at Carlisle, but I still don't see the distributor.

 

It must be back there someplace 'cause you can see the plug wires grouped behind the blower. Well... if it was built for an attenton getter... it's been a success. Lotta that 'theme' stuff back in the mid-late '60's was like that. Some of 'em didn't even have any internals. That's been changed.

 

Yeah. It definitely got some attention. Especially when it was popping coming through the pits. The "bling" factor is high for sure.

 

Oh and on a slight side note.... it does have a cage in it.

 

hmm..excellent point IC5.9...it did not when i saw it last year...do you have any pictures of the back end? is the tag number "BLOWN RT"?

It looked better and probably ran better with a single blower. Those side-pipes still functional? I'd like to see the exhaust gas velocity on that thing.

 

i think it looks better with a single blower. if you wanna see a WICKED truck check out the hero truck in this months Truckin mag... bad @ss! My favorite part is the hard tonnaeu with the 3 fireman raising the flag at ground zero.
