Default overhauled

So two weeks ago my motor, 01 QC 4.7l decided to go poo poo... Ripped it out and had it overhauled. Bored .30 over. new pistons, rings, rods, crank, seals, bearings, and complete head rework. Cost me about $1500. That doesnt include all the other parts I had to buy. Complete timing kit, both motor mounts, head bolts, head gaskets, harmonic balancer, water pump, crank position sensor, oil pump, exhaust manifold gaskets and studs, and phlenum seals. Got the motor back Tuesday. Reassembled the block and heads yesturday, got the motor 90% assembled. Still got to put on the exhaust manifolds and motor mounts then stab it back into the truck. I still have to replace the passenger side catalytic converter, for some reasons its 90% clogged. $75 fixes that. If all goes well here at work today I plan on attempting to put it in the truck today and have it running.

I will have some things up for grabs if anyone is interested. The old harmonic balancer which has nothing wrong with it, I just wanted to replace it. Valve guide seals, valve cover gaskets. A water pump with nothing wrong with it. and a few other things I cant think of at the moment.

I'll post pictures of the build and the parts later...Wish me luck.

As a matter of fact she is running. I spent yesturday putting on a new cat system with exhaust. put the finishing touches on. All I currently have left to do is finish bleeding the air out of the coolant system and put the hood back on. I plan on doing a test drive today, then if that goes well i'll actually drive her home.
