Default General Grabber Red Labels

Gettin me some 31x10.5 General Grabber Red Labels on 15x8 pro comp steels in a few weeks! Got no lift on my 2001 3.9 2wd dak! Liftin it soon but i need tires bad.
Where im gettin at is, how bad will they rub? Im takin off the plastic bumper skirt and will probably cut the wheel well plactic in the back corner. Will the tires rub the frame at all in a full crank?

At full turn they will rub. Generals are good tires for the dirt. Street not so much. But to each their own. They are badass looking tires though everyone now has them atleast in the desert community

They are great dirt tires, an they actually do great on the road. My buddy has been runnin them for a year now, they grab in the rain, and arent too loud on the road. Im happy with them thats why im gettin them! But yeah to each their own! Haha What will they rub? The frame? Wheel well?

Not the frame to my knowledge atleast I never had it hit on my truck. Mainly the front bumper and the it slightly rubbed a certain area of my rear wheel well. But you said youre ditching all of that so I think you will be fine and since you're lifting it as well I don't think it will be a problem for you

yeah thats what i thought! yeah i ditchin all the plastic so i think i will be good! it will only be runnin 31's all stock for a week or two cuz the kit is being fabbed and ordered. called doetsch yesterday! machining customs spindles that will extend 1 1/2 inches out to push out the wheels! and added strength is always a plus!

+2 on that! Except mine's for college haha. Anyways, post up some pics of those meats once you get em mounted. Just as an FYI, if you plan on putting the bumper cover and stuff back on once you lift it, they'll rub at full lock... mine's lifted 2" (rwd), and I still get some rub at full turn with my 265/70/16 grabber at/2's. I'd just leave it off if I were you, I drove mine around for awhile without the cover on and I thought it looked pretty sweet actually. In fact, if I hadn't have already bought the new cover, I would've left it off.

I think he is making a tube bumper with skidplate if I remember correctly. And I'm a college student full time. So it's possible to long travel your truck under a budget. Just have to save money every paycheck.
