Default Headlight Assembly Screws

Hey all, I have a slight problem with my headlights. I bought 2 new bulbs a few days ago for my dakota because mine are nearly dead. I went today to go put them in but discovered that all the screws holding the assemblies in place are stripped.
What can I do to get these out?

Are you sure they are stripped, or are they torx head screws? I think the stock headlights come with torx head screws.

No they're stripped, I have torx head screw drivers and the only one that isn't stripped fits the torx head. The rest might as well just have holes punched in the head.

k, just checking. Not sure too much what you'll be able to fit in there to get those out. However, you probably still can change the light bulbs through the inside of the fender if you can fit through there.

Would I have to pull the plastic inside the wheel well out? I'm not sure where I can get in there from.

You can open up the hood, and there's a hole you can reach into if you follow the wire harness.

Default New screws

You should use some needle nose pliers and extract them then install new but I’m not sure where you get the screws?

I would try a hardware store for screws, as long as the threads are the same who cares about the type of head it has? Just make sure the head size will fit the room allowed for installation.

Come on folks! You can go to a Menards, Lowes, Home Depot, or any store like that and buy a stripped screw extraction kit.
