Default Haynes or Chilton manual?

Which is the best for my '97 Dakota Sport 4x4? I have never had either for any of my automobiles. Which manual is better all around and why?

Thanks all.

Try alldatadiy.com

It's pretty much the factory manuals online. It'll have the wiring diagrams, everything, just like the factory manual.

IF one is available a factory service manual is NO DOUGHT THE BEST. chrysler factory manuals are better than any. i have 30 of them. but motors brand is good.

I have a Haynes and it seems pretty good. I've never felt like they're missing something or I can't do a job because it's lacking in some way. I've never owned a Chilton so I can't really compare the two.

please dont say that Haynes or Chilton are good, the ones i have seen are only fair, and some of the pics come out of chrysler manuals. but the rest of the info is only fair. motors brand, was much better, i dont know if its still made. but still the BEST is a chrysler, have 30, and 25 motors beand, mostly 50s,60s, 70s.

Hi Guy's,

I have the original Dodge Dakota shop manual.
