Finally gonna try the bosch lol
After getting the plugs put in that i didnt want i finally have time to take it back to firestone and try the bosch 4s. I average 19.6 every single day on the same trip to work. Just can't wait to see i the plugs make any difference since they are suppose to give the biggest spark each time. Ill get em in tomorrow and post what they did lol, just hoping i dont go and they tell me the wait is 6 hours lol.

I hope you went with the Bosch+4 4417's, and not the 4418's. The 4417's are the same plug, but they are one step colder than the 4418's and will really help with any sort on pinging issues you might have. I have tried them both, and the 4417's worked the best by far.
The 4418's were too hot, and I could really notice it at high rpm's, as they just seemed to "give up" near the red line. I also had a fair amount of pinging unless I used mid-grade fuel. When I replaced the 4418's they were running to hot by the looks of the plug.
The 4417's solved all of the issues that I had. My truck starts easily and idles very smooth, but the real difference is how my truck pulls at high rpm's. It just keeps pulling right up until it sounds like it's about to become alot of small, hot pieces all over the road!
Also, a quick "read" of the 4417's proved that they are the correct plug for my truck. And my mpg's are the best they have ever been.
Goood Luck,
Darryl
P.S. If you go to dodgedakotas.com and use the search feature and type in" 4417 Darryl", you will see alot of info from the last couple of years.

Lol i just got it done and left the Firestone shop after being mad at them lol. They said they broke one of the plugwires so it was knocking and i tell em not to fix it cause 80.00 for there wires was to much, so i drive it home and theres no knocking but better gas milage lol. Went from 19.6 average to 20.4 seems better to. I just wish i knew witch plugs they put in or ill just call em lol.

If you have any skill with hand tools, next time change the plugs yourself. A 3/8" ratchet, 3/8" universal joint, several 3/8" extensions (3"-12") and a 3/8" drive 5/8" spark plug socket, with 1 hour of your time, and you can save the $80-$100 labor fee.
It's not that hard at all, just do it!
