Update: So after cleaning the TB and IAC, i am still having the issue. I took my battery out trying to find the harness that I was told could be corroded and causing the issue, but never found the harness, just wires which were not corroded. Today, while at a stop light, it died again and this time didn't start back up right away. I popped the hood, tightened the battery cables tried to start again and the engine just didnt want to go. After about 4 minutes of cranking on the started, and on the line with AAA, it started right up and not a problem for the next 34 miles home. It seems to only do it within the first 5 minutes of driving after warming up for 5 minutes (give or take).

Do you think it could be a bad ASD relay? It is the only relay in my fuse panel without a white dot on it. Not sure why there are white dots on the rest, but it is the only one missing the white dot. Looks like someone marked them with white out for some purpose unknown to me.

Maybe its a dumb question, but can a relay go go from bad to dead or do they just go from good to dead. could it be a short or something in the relay?

Switch the relay out with one u know is good and see if the problem continues....but as I stated earlier in this thread I've been through the same problem, same symptoms....I replaced plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil, and crank sensor. If the coil hasn't been replaced I'd start there since its slightly cheaper than the crank sensor. Ur coil can throw spark and still be bad(not enough spark)

Well I bought a new relay, still had the issue, Today the truck won't even turn over. The starter cranks and cranks and nothing. It has new plugs, wires, and cap and rotor. Which coil is it that I need to check?
Thanks again,

If you haven't replaced the coil I'd try that next.

Angry This sucks to say but

This sucks to say but so many shops have gone the way of leaching off their customers by claiming you need this fix only to find out that wasn’t the problem then it’s this needs fixed only to find out that wasn’t it also.

Get my drift
