Yes i do. I miss the days when you could pull into a shop and before you had your vehicle parked the mechanics could already tell what you were coming in for. "Yep your 2 quarts low on oil and your coolant is a pint low. You also need a new fuse for your turn signal."

I broke, called AAA and had my truck towed to another dealer. They seemed to know what was wrong. I was at the location looking for a commuter car to drive while I figured this issue out. The Mechanic there was a kid I went to school with and have helped out in the past and told me he would waive the "Diagnosis Fee" and figure out what was wrong with it.

I will find out tomorrow. Does the computer need to be programed after installed? Just wondering because one of the other shops told me that it would have to be and it cost 350 to program it for the truck. But that is why I didn't have them do it

It should come preprogramed for the model truck you have to my knowledge if you are talking about the computer.

Well, i can't tell if you are being sarcastic about the dealer move, But they called this morning and told me that the Crankshaft sensor needed to be replaced as well as the computer, and it will cost me $640 to replace both. The other mechanic wanted half that amount just to "re-program" the computer.

I was told all they had to do was the crakshaft sensor and the computer needed a wire re soldered. They only charged me $190 and it seems to be driving fine now.
