I just got two TracRacs set up on my Dakota today, but I was wondering how you guys put a tool box on with ladder racks.

Would it look weird if I put the box right up to the cab and then put the rack behind the box? I don't have the cash for a tool box made for the racks.

I have the racks that mount independently to the top of the walls of the bed


How about putting something to level put the rail for the ladder rack and slapping a tool box ought on it?

 

What did you end up doing? Curious as I'm having the same dilemma.
