do you have a picture of how you welded hooks on the front? i had a tow hitch but with a roll pan it doesnt fit right so i was going to either get it custom fited but im planning on getting a body lift so then it would fit but for now im looking to get something in the front or something ..

From the back for sure, just hook to the frame. Theres literally nothing in the front I'm aware of you can hook to that isn't plastic... believe me Ive looked! RWD plus mud dont mix well!

I would try not to hook to the front of the frame if possible. Whenever (not often) I'm stuck, I hook to my hitch or if it's real stuck I just find a good piece of frame to hook on to.

There seems to be a pretty stout cross member there the skid plate is mounting too.. what about that? Other than the potential of screwing up the bumper cover?

They're mounted with 2 grade 8 bolts going through the tow hooks and in the frame. It has 2 sleeves that hold the tow hooks in place in the middle of the bolts in the frame. just needed some trimming of the bumper cover on the bottom and the top of the vent holes for the hooks to clear and for straps to slip onto them. I'm looking to get a front 2" receiver hitch for it soon to have a 3rd recovery point that's centered.

I made a grill guard and welded a hook on each side of it and mounted it up between bumper mounts and the frame with grade 8 bolts
