Have you looked into changing out the rad and condenser from your older Dakota to what they changed to around 2000 your rad will sit farther from your engine and the condenser is way different with the bolt together fittings if you know anyone with a 2000 or newer Dakota get a good look at both the rad and condenser to see what I’m talking about.
Take a close look at how the rad is bolted in it’s on the opposite side of the bracing.
This is the change I’m doing next winter

This is what it looks like around 2000 or 2001 they changed the rad and condenser and how they are attached both on the outside of the Dak front brace and very thin condensers that bolt together not pop together.
inside looks like this... this is the stock fan that comes with a 2000 and newer Dakota OH all that room is because its a 2.5 engine you are looking at.
This is a fan on a 2002 Dakota 3.9 engine same as the V8 and 2.5 at rockauto http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=1375417

If you look on the Jeep Cherokee or Liberties that have the "AUX" efan and clutch they are referenced as "HD Cooling.." I seen some liberties and cherokee's that didnt come with the clutch or anything.. just the electric fan.. Just throwing that out there..
Anyways.. I'm going to be posting more pics and videos today to address some PM questions to me.

Yes I may need an extra or A/C cooling fan strapped to the outside on the condenser for those 115 HOT summer days to help with engine and A/C cooling in a push pull configuration.
Mainly I want the extra cooling fan for my A/C my rad/engine runs sort of hot but still in range just to the extream hot range.
I will use a switch to kick in the extra fan only when needed.
Is that what you are talking about.

OK.. By request here is the video.. as well the requested Rag to hood test (LOL) I had my truck idling in the garage... so it would be nice and hot in there.. simulating stuck in traffic condition on a hot a$$ day..
As you can see AC is running and you can see where my temp gauge is at. I had the truck running for about 20 mins like that before i started recording just to make sure it was at full temperature.. and the inside of the truck was brisk and chilly.
