FYI on wiper blades
Last week I noticed my truck and wife's Honda Accord both needed new wiper blades. The old blades on both were Rain-X Weatherbeater blades. They did a good job until recently, hers were older than mine but they were all streaking pretty badly and no longer wiping cleanly. Mine were chattering a bit too.
I searched online, there are a lot of opinions and good and bad reviews here and other sites too for all of the different brands of blades. I searched specifically for info on the inexpensive Kleenview brand they sell at Advance Auto Parts. I did not find much info other than reviews on the AAP website. Most all of the AAP reviews were pretty good, so I bought 2 pairs of Kleenview blades yesterday and installed them on my truck and her car.
I had to make a trip down to Tampa and back today and it rained most of the way there and back home. It's about 130 miles round trip. The Kleenview blades were every bit as good as the much more expensive Rain-X blades I had before. They worked great today in heavy rain and light rain too. They wipe clean, they run quiet and smooth and so far they have not chattered. They fit the curvature of the windshield very well. My wife drove her car back and forth to work today and said her wipers did very well too.
I just wanted to put this out there, for the simple fact I did not find any reviews specifically for Kleenview wiper blades anywhere online except for the AAP site. The Kleenview blades do a real good job and cost half as much as Rain-X. The 4 blades together were a little less than $28.00 for all 4 blades. I added a $2.00 car wash sponge to my order, paid online with my Pay Pal account, used the A 1 2 3 online purchase discount code for $10.00 off a $30.00 order and the 4 wiper blades and sponge together only cost me $21.78, including tax. You just can't beat that price anywhere. I picked them up at the AAP store up the street from my house.
Rain-X Weatherbeaters for my truck cost about $25.00 a pair, and for her car they cost about $28.00 a pair. Time will tell but so far the Kleenview blade appears to be a very good blade and a good value for the price, especially when you use the AAP discount code.
Summer is here, it rains every day here in Florida, maybe this post might help someone else get a good wiper blade for a cheap price.
Edit: the online discount code I used was "A One Two Three". For some reason the numbers are not showing up in my post.....

Yes, you did...I put it there first. I like to post when I find something like this that works better or maybe costs less, or both. Just have to be careful what you post and how you say it on BITOG.

I know we have a set of michelin stealth wipers on our grand cherokee. They have been on for at least 30,000 miles. They are still working well with a clean sweep. I know ill be buying them for my truck next time around.
I've used a bunch of different wiper blades because I'm very picky with them. I've noticed that while one blade my work well for one vehicle it may not work well on another. The curvature of the windshield and the tension the wiper arm puts on the blade both play rolls. I used the expensive Rain-X ones and was very disappointed, they really didn't work well on my truck. My father however had different luck. He has a 2008 F-150 and has had the Rain-X blades on his truck for 2 years now. In those two years he has put over 80k miles on the truck. (He travels around 750-1000 miles a week). His wipers still work very well. Mine were on the truck less than a year, probably around 12-15k miles and really were not working well.
I will keep this in mind next time I buy wipers. I've bought NAPA brand wipers before and they completely fell apart in a short amount of time so I've been reluctant to purchase cheap blades since then. I usually replace them before winter since the ice/snow take their toll on wipers. I'll certainly look into them when I change them next time.
Wax works very well on windshields as well. Basically like using Rain-X on your windshield but I already have wax and feel it works even better.

Don’t like Rain-X liquid did a test area for the Rain-X liquid and didn’t like the outcome. Luckily I only did a small test area or I would of gone crazy till it wear off.
In AZ you only need your wipers maybe 20 days out of a year if that usually your wipers rot off before you even use them.

I hate Rain-X fluid. Makes my wipers chatter like a rabid monkey. So far the Kleenview blades are doing a great job and holding up fine. We have had some real bad rain this summer, I have been caught in it a few times myself and the Kleenview blades work great. I guess time will tell on how long they last. If I get a year of good use from them at the price I paid I got more than my money's worth from them.
I tried a set of Napa blades once too. They were garbage, streaking and squealing in the first week I had them. Lucky for me I had stashed the old blades under my seat, just in case. I remember pulling under a gas station awning in a rain storm one night and swapping the new Napa's out for my old blades. The Napa's went in the trash can at the gas station and I got a set of Rain-X Weatherbeaters the next day. Napa might make some other good parts but their wiper blades suck.

My cure for AZ and rain?
I finally decided the best thing to do is keep a new set of blades in the garage or in the truck and keep a set of crappy wipers on the truck then change out as needed then change back to the crap ones after every rain tired of them rotting off on me all the time.
