Unhappy Help me know I am not the only one!!!!

Well last 2 weeks have been real sh-----ee.
First had a running hot problem. And think we are going replace Radiator.
Second had a idle issue that we have solved. New power steering hose and switch and clean up the mess.
Now yesterday back brakes started grinding and when I went to pull to get gas felt like the back right grab and truck was not happy.

So my question. Am I the only one or do this just happen in 2's or 3's?

My waterpump, u joint and bearing all decided to go one after the other, finally fixed my backfire problem so lately it's been pretty good - although im worried about my tranny.

The joys of maintaining a vehicle my friend!

It is allays in twos and sometimes threes. If you keep your vehicle for more then five years. You will have to do the maintenance. If you like the truck and the price for repairs is not more then a new truck you are a winner

Default yea thats normal

It does seem to happen that way, I went 12 years with very few problems then last year it has been poking me in the eye and laughing at me even though I spent the middle of last year trying to get ahead of those needed repairs I still had some things to fix.

I am use to it. Just frustrating sometimes. But I think about the money I am saving doing it myself

Seems like it is always something. It's been like 3 years since my truck has been COMPLETELY problem free. There's always some small problem. Like my reverse lights not working, or annoying rattle that eluded me for a year, or a small PS leak that is just enough to be annoying but not enough for me to want to replace the pump. Always something.

lol....I was just thinking about my recent run of bad luck too. No issues at all with my truck for the first 6 years of owning it. But just in the last month I:

1. Had a bad rear wheel bearing, replaced both.
2. Replaced a faulty thermostat and ended up chasing a leaking water hose for 3 weeks afterwards.
3. Yesterday I did a "simple" spark plug change and one broke off in the engine. Got lucky and was able to use an easy-out to remove it, but what a PIA.

FYI- Dodge Water pumps are crap and so are the after market ones that were designed around them.

Dodge Tech told my brother to replace every 30K just because they use cheap ****ty bearings. That is unless you drop some cash for a really high quality one thats not OE replacement.

I was thinking I was the only one that has spent a lot of time fixing mine.
The big difference is I have only had my DAK for about 2 years. I now have more in repairs than the purchase price. My wife wants me to get rid of it, but I really do like the POS.
