Default Switch for power mirrors?

Hello all,

I want to replace the stock, manual side view mirrors on my '98 Dakota with power side view mirrors. But I cannot find the door switch "panel" that has the pwr locks, pwr windows, AND the pwr controls for the side view. I've tried google, ebay, etc. but can't seem to find it. Maybe I'm using the wrong terminology?

Thanks in advanced!

Default switches

If all you need is the switches look on rockauto under Electrical-Switch & Relay/Power Window Switch for a 2000 V8 4.7 Dakota its a multi function thing I think look at all the years.

This is what it says.

Blade Terminals; Terminal Gender: Male; Switch Functions: Power Windows w/ Power Lock; Direct OE Replacement; Number of Terminals: 14; Functions: Power Mirror Switch; Connector Gender: Female

On the 98's - 99's it's a round **** up near the drivers mirror. It rotates from left to right. So I think it's different. Bone yard,.. Hit the bone yard for one. Then, maybe you will get
lucky and get the power mirrors too. (Also, I know the switch is the exact same on '96 Rams. the mirrors are different but, the switch is the same. So, maybe a couple year Rams and Dakotas have that same switch. Grab the wiring, connectors and such also.

Seems like a lot of work just to get power mirrors (I know it's not that much work). I adjusted my mirrors the day I bought it and haven't touched them since...

Yes you need the **** thats up on the door panel. Depending on what model your truck is they might be wired for power.

Bpark I wish that was my case. My truck came standard with power mirrors but when you upgraded to tow mirrors they were manual. How dumb is that. You buy a 39k truck and get manual mirrors!!

Yeah, all I'm saying is I never use the manual mirrors. I've adjusted them once and never changed them. So I wouldn't care if it did come with manual mirrors. It's just once less electrical issue waiting to happen.
